- If a friend sends you a link to write about them, the answers you write, the name you give, and a random key stored in a cookie on your device so you can come back and edit them. Those answers go to the person you wrote about, who chooses whether they are used.
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and where you came from, using cookies and similar technologies (see "Use of cookies").

Information sent to advertising platforms
The advertising pixels on our website (Meta, TikTok, Google and AppLovin) tell those companies which pages you view, together with your IP address, browser details and any advert click identifier, so we can measure our adverts. We do not ask for your name or email address on this website, and we do not sell your information.
Sensitive information
We do not ask you for special category personal information on this website.
Who we send it to
We send information about you to other companies only where it is needed to run the website:
- Amazon Web Services host our website and send our email, on servers in Ireland.

- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok and AppLovin each provide a pixel that measures our adverts.
- Apple and Google run the app stores that our app download buttons lead to.
We may also disclose personal data to law enforcement agencies in connection with an investigation to prevent unlawful activity, or where otherwise required by law.
Use of cookies
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you use a website. We use cookies, and similar technologies such as pixels, to keep the website working, to understand how it is used, and to measure our adverts. For the full list and how to control them, see our website cookie policy.

How we use the information
We use it to:

- understand how the website is used and improve it;
- measure which of our adverts and links lead to visits and app downloads;
- detect and prevent fraud and abuse;
Our lawful bases are our legitimate interests in running, securing and promoting the website, your consent where the law requires it (for example for advertising cookies), and our need to reply to you.
Keeping your data secure
Our staff are bound by confidentiality, and we use appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal data. We only share it with third parties who also comply with the Legislation. Use of the internet is not entirely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information you send to us.
Our servers are in Ireland, in the European Economic Area, which the UK recognises as adequate. Some of the companies listed above, such as Google, Meta, TikTok and AppLovin, may process information in other countries, including the United States, under safeguards such as an adequacy decision, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
We keep information only for as long as we need it for the reasons above, and then delete it. A message you send us is kept for as long as we need it to deal with it.
What rights do you have?
You have the right to be informed, to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to move it to another service, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To use any of them, email us at hey [at] ataparty [dot] app, or write to us at Breezer Ltd, 9 Woodlands Avenue, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, HD9 7SP, United Kingdom.
